Section of Humanities
Human Science is the science that studies phenomena centered around man as a human being, in isolation from phenomena arising from his interactions with other members of society or between his society and other societies. Ibn Khaldun Center focuses on the following human fields:
- Language and linguistics
- Philosophy
- Psychology
- History
- Education
The presence of a section of humanities in a center concerned with the study of social and human phenomena is an essential matter, as it is one of the two pillars of social and human sciences, especially since human sciences do not receive equal attention to social sciences. Most research centers are concerned with the fields of social science, such as politics, economics and society, rather than the branches of the human sciences, such as philosophy, linguistics, and so on.
