I am a Researcher
Description
This program is designed for national students to nurture students' research-based knowledge through advanced research experiences in real-world labs under the mentorship of research experts and scientists. "I am a researcher" offers a unique opportunity for pre-university students in Qatar to participate in active research held at the different research institutions and departments of Qatar University. Wherein nominated students to work with the university professors and experienced researchers, equipping them with the fundamentals of research methodology, thereby capacitating them to manage their hands-on research projects.
Objectives
- This track gives the chance to Qatari high school students to work as Research Assistants within Qatar University Laboratories
- Students will have the chance to work with University professors and professional equipment under the supervision of the QUYSC team
- Enrich students' knowledge of materials science and engineering, history, and more.
- This track enhances the student's research skills and soft skills required for university entrance
- students are familiarized with the steps of research i.e. generating a hypothesis, gathering data, experimenting, constructing evidence based on data, and consequently drawing conclusions either propagating forward to advanced research or solving a scientific problem.
- They foster and cultivate scientific curiosity, problem-solving capability, and ultimately, the research methodology.

Description
The IR track has taken an innovative route in research based learning by introducing the students to the scope in digital technology in game development and mobile application development. The participants familiarized different coding languages such as Java, C++, and python, through different programing platforms such Unity and Mobile Application. All the participated students divided into 5 groups adjourning with innovative Applications and Games.
